Committed to the planet: our emission reduction targets officially validated by SBTi
On June 5th, World Environment Day 2025, FRUIT&TECH reaffirms its commitment to sustainability with the official validation of its near-term emission reduction targets by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
The SBTi has approved FRUIT&TECH´s near-term science-based emissions reduction target.
Energy & Industry.
Commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base year.
Commits that 78.8% of its suppliers by emissions covering purchased goods and services and upstream transportation and distribution, will have science-based targets by 2029.
Commits that 50% of its customers by emissions covering downstream transportation and distribution, will have science-based targets by 2029.
Commits to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions from fuel and energy related activities and end of life treatment of sold products 25% by 2030 from a 2022 base year.
FLAG emissions.
Commits to reduce absolute Scope 3 FLAG emissions 30.3% by 2030 from a 2022 base year.
No-Deforestation.
Commits to no-deforestation across its primary deforestation commodities, with a target date of December 31, 2025.
